The Journal of Applied Medical Science and Technology (JAMST) is committed to maintaining high standards of scientific quality, integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in the publication of biomedical and health-related research. The Journal welcomes original research, review articles, systematic reviews, case reports, methodological studies, and other scholarly contributions within its scope.
Peer Review Process
The Journal of Applied Medical Science and Technology follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.
All submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the editorial team to determine their suitability for the Journal in terms of scope, scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and adherence to the Journal's author guidelines.
Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation are generally sent to two or more independent expert reviewers with relevant expertise. Where appropriate, manuscripts may also undergo statistical, methodological, or ethical review.
The final editorial decision is made by the handling Editor based on the reviewers' comments, the scientific quality of the manuscript, and the Journal's editorial policies. Possible decisions include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
Authors may suggest potential reviewers who have appropriate expertise and no conflict of interest with the submitted work. However, the final selection of reviewers remains entirely at the discretion of the Editor.
Providing false, misleading, or fabricated information about potential reviewers—including false names, affiliations, or email addresses—is considered a serious breach of publication ethics and may result in rejection of the manuscript at any stage of the publication process.
The peer-review process is conducted independently and without interference from authors, sponsors, commercial interests, or other external parties.
Publication Frequency
The Journal of Applied Medical Science and Technology is published quarterly, with four issues published each year:
- January–March
- April–June
- July–September
- October–December
The number of articles published in each issue may vary according to the number of manuscripts accepted and the Journal's editorial schedule.

The Journal of Applied Medical Science and Technology is committed to maintaining complete editorial independence.
Editorial decisions are based on the scientific merit, originality, relevance, methodological quality, ethical standards, and contribution of a manuscript to the field. Editors are expected to make decisions independently and objectively, without interference from personal, political, institutional, commercial, or financial interests.
Editors, reviewers, authors, sponsors, and other individuals involved in the publication process must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence, or could reasonably be perceived to influence, the evaluation or publication of a manuscript.
The Journal's editorial decisions are not influenced by advertising, sponsorship, commercial relationships, or other financial considerations.
Ethical Considerations
The Journal of Applied Medical Science and Technology is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity.
The Journal follows the principles and recommendations of internationally recognized organizations, including the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their research has been conducted ethically and in accordance with applicable national and international regulations.
Where applicable, manuscripts involving human participants, human biological materials, animals, or sensitive personal data must include appropriate information regarding ethical approval, informed consent, and other relevant ethical requirements.
The Journal reserves the right to request documentation of ethical approval or other supporting information when necessary.
Publication and Proof Policy
Following acceptance and production of a manuscript, authors will receive page proofs for final review.
Authors are responsible for carefully checking the proofs and confirming that all text, figures, tables, references, author names, affiliations, and other publication details are accurate.
Particular attention should be paid to the spelling and order of authors' names, institutional affiliations, corresponding-author information, figures, tables, and numerical data.
Authors should return their corrections within the deadline specified by the Editorial Office. Failure to return proofs within the specified period may result in publication delays.
Proof corrections should normally be limited to typographical, formatting, and factual errors. Substantive changes to the manuscript after acceptance may require editorial approval and, where appropriate, additional review.
Once an article has been published, changes to authorship, affiliations, or other important bibliographic information will generally not be permitted except through an appropriate post-publication correction process.
Publication Ethics and Research Misconduct
The Journal of Applied Medical Science and Technology follows the ethical principles and best practices recommended by COPE and ICMJE.
The Journal expects all authors, editors, reviewers, and other individuals involved in the publication process to uphold the highest standards of honesty, transparency, and research integrity.
Allegations of research misconduct, publication misconduct, or unethical behavior will be taken seriously and investigated in accordance with the Journal's policies and recognized publication-ethics guidelines.
Definition of Research Misconduct
Research misconduct generally includes, but is not limited to:
Fabrication: Making up data, results, or other research information and reporting them as genuine.
Falsification: Manipulating research materials, equipment, processes, data, or results, or selectively changing or omitting information in a manner that misrepresents the research record.
Plagiarism: Using another person's ideas, words, data, figures, methods, or other intellectual contributions without appropriate acknowledgment or attribution.
Research misconduct does not ordinarily include honest errors, genuine differences in scientific interpretation, or reasonable disagreements concerning research findings.
Other forms of publication misconduct may include duplicate publication, redundant publication, inappropriate authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, manipulation of the peer-review process, citation manipulation, and other practices that undermine the integrity of scholarly communication.
When misconduct is suspected, the Journal may request explanations or supporting documentation from the authors and may contact the relevant institution or other appropriate authorities when necessary.
Advertising Policy
The Journal of Applied Medical Science and Technology does not accept commercial advertising that could compromise the editorial independence, scientific integrity, or reputation of the Journal.
Advertising, sponsorship, or other commercial activities, if permitted in the future, will be clearly separated from editorial content and will have no influence on editorial decisions, peer review, manuscript selection, or publication.
Sources of Financial Support
The Journal of Applied Medical Science and Technology maintains transparency regarding the financial support of its publishing activities.
Where applicable, the Journal's publishing activities may be supported through Article Processing Charges (APCs) and other legitimate publishing revenues disclosed by the Journal.
Financial considerations do not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, manuscript acceptance, or the scientific evaluation of submitted articles.
Authors are required to disclose all sources of financial support for the research reported in their manuscripts, including grants, institutional support, or other funding.
Conflict of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial, personal, professional, or institutional relationships that could influence or be perceived to influence the research or publication process.
Authors should include an appropriate conflict-of-interest statement in their manuscript. If no relevant conflicts exist, authors should state this clearly.
Editors and reviewers who have a potential conflict of interest with a manuscript should recuse themselves from the evaluation process.
